Idea of construction of the temple in Verkhnyaya Pyshma at the place of former the Dormition Church is appeared straight after recommencement of public worship and clergy benefits beginning in dilapidated building of former movie theatre at the beginning of 1990s. According to request of inhabitants the city administration marked out the area for construction of future temple in 1992. But it was not possible to do during long period. The construction of the temple all together was not possible due to the lack of funds of city administration, local enterprises which were initially ready for participation in temple construction, voluntary donations of the citizens for implementation of such huge project. Patron of arts which would be ready for all difficulties connected with the project implementation was required. OAO “Uralelectromed” with its Director, Andrey Kozitsyn (current General Director of UMMC) has become such patron of art.
